Abstract

The invention consists of an airfield systematic deceleration brake installation made in the form of a combination of brake drums and guide rollers. For the purpose of smoothly increasing the brake force on the cable and rapid return of the entire installation into original position, it employs a cable stretching and gathering mechanism consisting of movable blocks with rubber shock absorbers.
