PHONON DRAG EFFECT AND TRANSPORT COEFFICIENTS.

Abstract

For the simplest case, the derivation of the formula for electric conductivity and the critical discussion of its validity are outlined. Next it will be applied to the simplest situation of a multiple scattering problem, namely electrons in randomly distributed impurity potentials. Thirdly the calulation of a more refined evaluation of the conductivity for a typical many-body problem, such as electrons interacting with phonons is described.
