LONG RANGE PROPAGATION STUDIES.
Abstract
The report reviews the activity associated with the Step Frequency Oblique Sounder at Andoya in Northern Norway during the one-year period commencing March 1963. Pertinent experimental data are given. The results from some theoretical deductions, performed to support the process of interpretation, are presented. A set of selected examples from the collection of data serves to illustrate characteristic features pertaining to the observations. One of the chapters deals with the communication aspect of the experiment. Plans for the future are stated. (Author)
