M15 ELEVATION QUADRANT COUNTER OPERATING AND LIFE TESTS,

Abstract

Operating and life tests were conducted on a limited number of mechanical counters. The tests consisted of intermittent operation for a maximum of one hour and continuous tests till failure. Best overall performance was attained by a counter having Delrin counter wheel gears and nylon pinions. (Author)
