SPINDLE TORQUE TESTS OF FOUR CRP PROPELLER BLADE DESIGNS FOR MSO 421,

Abstract

The report presents the results of water tunnel tests of models of four controllable-pitch propeller designs for MSO 421. Thrust and torque characteristics and both hydrodynamic and centrifugal blade spindle torque characteristics are given for a range of operating conditions at ahead pitch settings. (Author)
