ELECTRON BEAM BRAZING OF BERYLLIUM,

Abstract

The purpose of the investigation was to study the feasibility of electron beam brazing of beryllium, to determine the brazing characteristics of various filler metals, and to evaluate the properties of the brazed joints produced. Electron beam brazing was found impractical because of the intense localized heating effects.
