Abstract
Work done on the contract was directed (1) toward the study of hydrogen bonding in thiols and aminothiols, (2) toward the synthesis of compounds of the type R2N-C-C-CSH, and (3) toward the study of the kinetics of oxidation by air of aminothiols, as affected by pH, the presence of heavy metal ions and the presence of chelating agents.
