THE DECOMPOSITION OF SILVER OXIDE IN ALKALINE SOLUTIONS.

Abstract

The decomposition of silver (I) oxide in aqueous potassium hydroxide was studied using titrimetric, radioactive tracer, and gas evolution techniques. The rate of decomposition is dependent on temperature, photo effects, and the presence of foreign materials. (Author)
