DEVELOPMENT OF FIRE-RESISTANT WATER BASE HYDRAULIC FLUID

Abstract

The alkali alkyl phosphates and alkali alkylphosphonates continue to hold promise as candidates for fire-resistant, pour point depressants. The former appear somewhat more compatible with metals, while the latter have higher AIT's. Phosphoramidates and alkali alkyl thiolphosphates, in general, are of no further interest.
