PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR TUBE TYPE 7587.

Abstract

This final report contains an account of the effort expended, the data compiled, and the experiences encountered during all the phases of the subject contract. In detail it includes: (1) The creation of the concepts used in the design of practical production equipment, and the evaluation of these concepts by laboratory techniques in terms of engineering soundness and reliability. (2) The design and construction phases of each task. (3) The debugging and test phases of each task. (4) The effort expended in bringing each of the tasks to a level of production capability and in fabricating preproduction samples. The problems, actions and progress encountered in maintaining the operational efficiency of the subject equipment.
