METHOD OF CONTACTLESS INVESTIGATING ELECTRICAL CONDUCTION OF CADMIUM SULFIDE TYPE SEMI-CONDUCTORS,

Abstract

Investigations of local photosensitivity on CdS-monocrystals were carried out by three methods: a) with the aid of a generator the relative photosensitivity along the length of the crystal was measured; b) by an ordinary method with constant voltage; c) similarly with the constant voltage, the electrodes were applied over the entire length of the crystal. Local measurements with the high frequency generator offered practically true results, just as by directly measuring the current and large number of electrodes. The locally measured properties, by means of the third method, did not lead to satisfactory results.
