INVESTIGATION OF THE ERROR STATISTICS OF PULSE DATA UNDER NON GAUSSIAN NOISE CONDITIONS.
Abstract
This report handles investigations on data transmission. Data sent on actual telephone circuits will often be interfered with random line noise. Noise recorded from heavy disturbed subscribers lines has been investigated. As types of data transmission system, amplitude modulation, and phase modulation were used. The transmission speed was 1800 Baud. Error rates, caused by various line noise are studied. (Author)
