HIGH VOLTAGE SILICON RECTIFIER STACKS.

Abstract

The preproduction test report is divided in actuality into two sections; the first is a tabular summary of test results together with a discussion of difficulties encountered. The second section is a tabulation of original test data. Although final preproduction results are certainly promising, certain difficulties were encountered during testing. This was due to previously unnoticed voltage transients in the high voltage life test apparatus which destroyed two columns. However, upon removal of these transients and rebuilding of the columns no further difficulties were encountered. (Author)
