Abstract
The monograph contains the results of studies made on ice rime phenomena, a description of the ice formation conditions within the territory of the USSR, and is the first scientific summary of accumulated data taken from instrumental observations made of ice formation on cables. The information contained in the monograph can be used in designing and operating communication and electric power lines and other line installations. The monograph is also of interest for meteorologists, climatologists, geographers, and other readers interested in problems of climate within the USSR. (Author)
