PROPAGATION OF NONLINEAR HAHN-RAMO WAVES ALONG AN ANNULAR ELECTRON CURRENT SHEATH.

Abstract

The report deals with an analytical nonlinear theory of space charge wave propagation along an annular current sheath in a conducting tunnel. The effect of nonlinearities on fundamental frequency amplitude saturation, the behavior of harmonic frequency waves and the distortion of waveforms is considered. (Author)
