ON CERTAIN RELAXATION OSCILLATIONS: ASYMPTOTIC SOLUTIONS,

Abstract

Periodic solutions of the generalized Lienard equation are investigated in the phase and Lienard planes. Certain comparison equations are obtained by modifying the functions f(x), g(x), F(x) = integral evaluated from 0 to x f(u)du, so that the resulting equations may be integrated to within an error of order mu to the - 2.
