LIBYAN EARTHQUAKE OF FEBRUARY 21, 1963,

Abstract

A study of this event was undertaken to contribute to the basic data concerning earthquakes and to gain an appreciation of possible differences between seismic waves excited by earthquakes contrasted with explosions. Seismograms recorded by World-Wide Standardized Seismograph (WWSS) stations served as the principal source of information in this research. Tabular and graphical data resulting from this study are included.
