TESTS OF A HAMILTON STANDARD FOUR-WAY, 21-INCH-DIAMETER MODEL PROPELLER EMPLOYING THE U. S. NAVY AIRBORNE MODEL TEST FACILITY.

Abstract

The U. S. Navy's Airborne Model Test Facility was employed to obtain aerodynamic and structural test data for a Hamilton Standard 1/9th-scale model representative of an early propeller design for the XC-142 aircraft. All propeller forces and moments plus propeller blade stresses are presented for inflow angles through 90 degrees. (Author)
