TIME-DEPENDENT STRESS-STRAIN DISTRIBUTIONS,

Abstract

Using data which can be obtained from conventional constant stress tests, a method is developed to determine the amount of inelastic strain that occurs for non-linear stress-time variations. The method is applicable to transient and steady state creep and enables one to determine the stress-strain distributions when they are a function of time. (Author)
