A METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE EFFECTIVE EMITTING TEMPERATURE OF A RADIATING BODY,

A method for determining the effective emitting temperature of an incandescent body is described. Theoretical derivations and restrictions upon the method are given. The effective emitting temperature of the flame of parachute flare is determined as an illustration of the method. (Author)
