HYDROSTATIC TEST PROCEDURES.

Abstract

The results of an investigation conducted to determine the effect of various hydrostatic-test parameters on the structural integrity (burst strength) of glass-filament-wound chambers are described. The hydrostatic tests were conducted on continuous-filament spheroids, cut-filament spheroids, and 4-in.-dia chambers designed to fail in the hoop windings. (Author, modified-PL).
