SOME GERMANIUM MACROCYCLIC COMPLEXES.

Abstract

The macrocylic germanium complexes, hpGeF2, hpGeCl2, hpGeBr2, hpGe(OH)2, (hpGeO)x, hpGe(OC4H9-n)2, hpGe(OC6H5)2, PcGeF2, PcGeBr2, and PcGeI2 are reported together with additional data on hpH2, PcGeCl2 and (PcGeO)x. A comparison is made of the low frequency infrared spectra of the oxy, hydroxy and halo complexes. Evidence is given which indicates that (hpGeO)x is similar in structure to (PcGeO)x.
