ESTIMATING MISSING VALUES IN UNREPLICATED TWO-LEVEL FACTORIAL AND FRACTIONAL FACTORIAL DESIGNS.

Abstract

It has been recommended that for a single performance of a complete factorial design, a missing value be estimated by 'minimizing the sum of squares for the interactions that are used as error'. In the paper, more specific recommendations are made for estimating one or more missing values when the design is a two level factorial or fractional factorial. (Author)
