AUTOMATIC COMPUTATION OF CORRELATION FUNCTIONS IN THE CASE OF NONUNIFORM TRAVEL OF SIGNAL-CARRYING TAPE,

Abstract

The effect of nonuniform motion of the carrier on the performance of the correlator during the recording and reproduction of investigated signals is discussed. It is shown that periodic carrier rate fluctuations lead to linear distortions of correlator output signal.
