A LINEAR PROGRAMMING MODEL OF THE U. S. PETROLEUM REFINING INDUSTRY,

Abstract

This paper reports upon the construction of one of a series of process analysis models that are being developed for the United States economy. The general purpose of these studies is to give numerical answers to questions about production capability, and at the same time to take account of potential substitutions between alternative production processes.
