ON THE OPTIMAL INVENTORY EQUATION,

Abstract

A summary is presented of some results recently obtained in connection with the problem of optimal inventory. Solutions are given for the case of proportional costs and arbitrary demand, and for the case where the costs are linear constant terms representing administrative costs.
