COSPAR INTERNATIONAL REFERENCE ATMOSPHERE,

Abstract

The scientific problem of high altitude physics which involves the determination of density, pressure, composition and temperature is discussed. It was found that these properties are not only functions of altitude, but also of local time and position with regard to the surface of the earth. (Author)
