HUMAN FACTORS ASPECTS IN MAINTAINABILITY,

Abstract

The broad area of maintainability, as discussed by human factors scientists and engineers, is subdivided into three major interdependent sub-areas. They are: design for maintainability; training the maintenance man to be able to assume the responsibility for maintaining the equipment; and the tools, equipment and/or aids that are necessary to enable the maintenance man to meet his responsibilities.
