COMPLEX VEHICULAR CONTROLS.

Abstract

A second ONR symposium was held in the field of complex vehicular controls. The fifteen papers and discussions presented cover the subject areas of man-machine systems, display systems, automatic and manual controls, handling qualities, vision problems, human equalization, environmental effects on the operator, tracking and serial choice tasks. Aircraft, helicopters and submarines were the primary vehicles treated. (Author)
