A SYSTEMS ENGINEERING APPROACH TO RELIABILITY,

Abstract

The main theme of the paper is that reliability must be sought as an integral of the over-all system design. A listing of what should be the principal areas of concern to a reliability engineering organization is presented. Also, a short list of some general methods of increasing system reliability which is believed to be basic in designing for reliability is given.
