THERMOELECTRIC JUNCTIONING PROJECT.

Abstract

Working during the seventh quarterly period included experimentation with sputtered nickel, rhodium, and tin films on thermoelectric materials and improvements in electrolytic nickel plating techniques. Diffusion and the effect of high temperatures for extended time were also investigated. A high vacuum system operating above room temperature was investigated for precleaning thermoelectric elements prior to junctioning. (Author)
