WEAPONS SYSTEM PHILOSOPHY,

Abstract

The weapons system philosophy is discussed as a point of view embracing a technique for ordering, classifying and analyzing a technologically complex mechanism, organization or process. Each element and each problem is considered in its proper context so that the objectives of the system as a whole may be realized with a minimal expenditure of resources. The philosophy is considered to be a powerful tool aiding in the design, development and management of military weapons systems.
