THE LOGISTICS LABORATORY; HOPES AND PLANS,

Abstract

The development and functions of the Logistics Systems Laboratory are described. As part of the logistics research program at RAND, it provides for the development of improved logistics data handling, especially electronic computers. The laboratory is expected to provide a basically new research method, and will complement other research in the Logistics Department.
