ON THE PRINCIPLE OF INVARIANT IMBEDDING AND ONE-DIMENSIONAL NEUTRON MULTIPLICATION

Abstract

A new method is introduced for treating problems involving neutron multiplication by fission, with special regard to questions of critical mass and distribution of neutrons. The results dderive from applications of the principle of invariant imbedding, which was introduced and discussed in two previous papers (see AD605023, AD605114).
