A FACTOR-ANALYTIC APPROACH TO PROBLEM SOLVING,

Abstract

Certain of the complex processes referred to generically as problem solving are analyzed logically, in a manner somewhat different from the analyses of previous investigators, with the objective of relating critical phases of the process to some of the intellectual aptitudes that have been identified by factor analysis.
