GYROSCOPE SUSPENSION,

Abstract

In the suspension described in order to reduce the force of friction and to limit the axial displacement of the gyroscope, the intermediate ring of the ball bearing is joined to a revolving holder, and the spherical face of one trunnion and a ball rest on plates of hard alloy, soldered in on two sides into a cogwheel step bearing.
