CHANGE OF TERRAIN ROUGHNESS AND THE WIND PROFILE.
Abstract
A theory is constructed to describe the distribution of wind with height in hydrostatically neutral air following a sudden change in terrain roughness. The agreement with measurements made at a variety of locations is satisfactory. (Author)
