FIBER OPTIC LASER.

Abstract

Some spectral and time properties of neodymium glass lasers of conventional geometry are described. The spectral output vs. pump power was investigated. The effect of temperature on the spectra and time traces was also looked at. The results of attempts to control the frequency of the laser emission are reported. Work on long single fibers and fused multifiber bundles was carried out. (Author)
