CONSTANCY OF E TO THE 2ND POWER/HC IN A GRAVITATIONAL FIELD.

Abstract

It is shown that if the fine structure constant depends on the gravitational potential V as (1 + k V/c to the 2nd power), then the experimental limit on k is at most 10 to the minus power. Similar results hold for the proton/electron mass ratio and many other dimensionless physical constants. (Author)
