POSITIVE OPERATORS AND AN INERTIA THEOREM.
Abstract
A generalization of the theorem of Perron-Frobenius is used to prove an inertia theorem, which contains Lyapunov's theorem and Stein's theorem as special cases. It is pointed out that there is a close relation between the inertia theorem and known results on M-matrices. (Author)
