SATELLITE PERTURBATIONS DUE TO ZONAL GRAVITATIONAL HARMONICS.

Abstract

Literal expressions for the first order pertubative effects on the orbital parameters of a satellite orbit due to zonal gravitational harmonics to the tenth degree were derived from the general equations of Kaula. Numerical values from these expressions were converted to their effect on the apparent night ascensions, apparent declinations and distance of the satellite. (Author)
