A LINEAR-PATH MECHANICAL ACCELERATOR,

Abstract

Through the combination of a torsion pendulum, a level surface, and a vertical plane, an apparatus has been devised which provides essentially sinusoidal controllable acceleration along a straight line, with minimum crossupling. A reduced-scale model has been built and tested and has proved such an apparatus practical. (Author)
