INVESTIGATION OF COMPLEX BEARING AND/OR LUBRICATION SYSTEMS.

Abstract

The objective of the program is to conduct research on complex bearing and/or lubrication systems for flight accessory equipment to operate at temperatures from -65F to 1500F, in high vacuum or normal atmosphere, and while exposed to nuclear radiation. The target specifica tions are for a self-contained bearing system which will operate at 30,000 rpm.
