SPONTANEOUS MAGNETIZATION IN ORTHOFERRITES BETWEEN LIQUID AIR TEMPERATURE AND THE CURIE POINT.

Abstract

Results of measurements of the ferromagnetic moment of rare earth orthoferrites between 90K and the Curie point are presented. These results show that the rare earth ions behave like a paramagnet in an effective field due to the iron ions. (Author)
