SCIENTIFIC USES FOR A SATELLITE VEHICLE,

Abstract

A small future satellite vehicle offers possibilities for major advances in cosmic rays, solar physics, terrestrial meteorology, and in the physics of the earth's upper atmosphere. A larger satellite used as an astronomical observatory would be a revolutionary new tool in astrophysics and cosmology and would contribute to our fundamental knowledge of the nature of the universe.
