RESEARCH DIRECTED TOWARD THE INVESTIGATION OF SUITABILITY OF THE GLOTRAC TYPE G TRANSPONDER FOR USE IN THE RANGE CALIBRATION SATELLITE.

Abstract

The report covers three areas of investigation of the GLOTRAC transponders. The transponder testing in accordance with the electromagnetic interference requirements and the test results are discussed. The development of a breadboard line filter is described which allows the GLOTRAC transponder to meet the electromagnetic interference requirements. An investigation of the temperature stability problems of the GLOTRAC received signal strength telemetry circuit is discussed. (Author)
