A NEW METHOD TO SIMPLIFY BRIDGE TYPE MEASUREMENTS ON QUARTZ CRYSTAL UNITS,
Abstract
After a discussion of the two major elements of the equipment dealt with in this report, two different methods to control the signal frequency by utilizing the information contained in the output signal of the bridge are described. Although this is not a limitation, the methods are explained using one particular type bridge, the Hewlett-Packard Model 803A VHF Impedance Bridge. The same principles can be employed for many other test circuits.
