RESEARCH IN PRESSURE-CONTROLLED FLUID JET AMPLIFIERS.

Abstract

A subsonic, pressure controlled, fluid jet amplifier is analyzed to determine the important design parameters. Once these parameters are known, they are considered in terms of stability, linearity, and gain, and observations are used to help determine the proper analytical models. Air models were also used to verify results. The analysis starts with a consideration of submerged jet representation. The various geometrical constraints are added one by one, and their effects predicted. Graphical presentations of results are freely used. (Author)
