INTERACTION OF BEAMS OF CHARGED PARTICLES WITH PLASMA,

Abstract

A review is given of recent studies concerning interactions of charged particle beams with plasmas in the following groups of cases: instabilities caused by the VavilovCerenkov effect during the interaction of electronic and ion beams with plasma which is in a magnetic field; instability caused by the anomalous and by the normal Doppler effect; interactions involving confined plasmas.
