100 WATT THERMOELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM FOR BUOY APPLICATIONS.

Abstract

The investigation of the heat transfer in the intake and exhaust stack was completed and a design finalized. A breadboard model of the control unit was constructed and tested. A hot wire ignitor and a flame detector were built and tested in conjunction with the control breadboard. A prototype oceanographic buoy was inspected prior to its being launched at Jacksonville, Florida. The test data obtained on the two BiTe modules was analyzed. (Author)
